I'm seven minutes into Animals and this is drearier than I remembered.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

There’s pop good and not pop good, and no matter how good not pop good is, Heston will not like it and I don’t expect otherwise.

I'd had a joint. No one can say I didn't try.

Okay you made the minimal effort, you're free to go.

Hello,
Pink Floyd is more pot music than beer music. Not many say "Hey, let's buy a couple of six-packs and throw The Wall on"; however, I'd say it's more common to hear "Let's fire up a couple of joints and listen to The Wall."

The really clever part of the joke is Best of the Beatles is a Pete Best cash in from, I think, the seventies, that we can imagine Alan buying and thinking was the band.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑09 Sep 2021, 6:26pmI think I'd have to say The Best of Pink Floyd. /alanpartridge

Ha! I had no idea. I just assumed he'd think any "best of" must be a band's best record.Silent Majority wrote: ↑10 Sep 2021, 5:00amThe really clever part of the joke is Best of the Beatles is a Pete Best cash in from, I think, the seventies, that we can imagine Alan buying and thinking was the band.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑09 Sep 2021, 6:26pmI think I'd have to say The Best of Pink Floyd. /alanpartridge
