Kevin Rowland being as engagingly honest and intetesting as ever. My Beauty being reissued 21 years after its release, was never aware of the Springsteen story. I never thought the album was bad, some parts didnt work great but overall i liked the energy and obvious emotion of it.

The things raised in the interview confirm everything else I've read about David Byrne. I know Colin Newman thinks Byrne is a complete dick.

Interesting - I was reading about the complete disaster around that infamous Happy Mondays album the other day and am sure Frantz has some great stories to tell on that front.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑21 Jul 2020, 4:32pmChris Frantz has a memoir out: https://www.theguardian.com/music/2020/ ... avid-byrne

Really no shock to discover Byrne is a weird, self-obsessed person though.
