As I chug my way thru the Anthology (one episode left, I believe), I was struck in the videos for "Hello Goodbye" and "Lady Madonna" how vital and captivating George's guitar lines are. I mention this because this is also period of "bossy Paul," yet George's parts are the ones that stand out in terms of performance. If Paul was being dictatorial, it wasn't to showcase his playing.

Are we sure that Paul didn't re-record them?

Looked it up and it doesn't say Paul played guitar on either. George on HG and George and John on LM.

It's a common belief that Paul was a better farter than Ringo.

Onto Craig Brown’s One, Two, Three, Four. Started yesterday and am already halfway through — lots of fun and v enjoyable. Track it down if you haven’t read it yet!
Started reading this evening. Delightfully breezy and inventive, but certainly for those who know The Story in and out, backward and forward already.

Apparently Pete farted best that's why he had to go.

It quickly became apparent that all the Beatles farted best when inspired by each other, rather than farting on their own. George, for example, had that one massive fart in 1970, a build of flatulence from his time in the Beatles, and then his anus pretty much sealed up.

It's a mistaken interpretation that "Run For Your Life" is an admission or even justification of domestic abuse. In fact, John was being considerate and warning his lady friend that the beans and toast were about to re-emerge and make the air toxic.

I think it was this incident that inspired Paul to write "Fixing a Hole".

As well as the whole "Paul shit himself" rumour that started in '69.

Fifty years ago, a Detroit DJ accidentally started the biggest hoax in rock & roll history: the “Paul's butt is dead” craze. It blew up on October 12, 1969, when Russ Gibb was hosting his show on WKNR. A mysterious caller told him to put on the Beatles’ White Album and spin the “number nine, number nine” intro from “Revolution 9” backwards. When Gibb tried it on the air, he heard the words, “Turn me on, dead butt.” The clues kept coming. At the end of “Strawberry Fields Forever,” John says, “I curried Paul.” What could it all mean?

In 1969 Paul was last seen entering the toilet at Abbey Road singing "When I find myself in times of trouble...let it be oh let it be".
