It isn't bad IMO, Maddy Prior has a great voice and the band has had some great musicians over the years. What I tend not to like is the up front rock style guitar and drum sounds. I appreciate where its coming from but thats always been one of my hangups of many of these bands.
Rev...you've let me down. That track is fucking awful.
To be fair I said it wasn't bad.

As Ive said before (I think) I spent at least the last half of the 90s exploring folk and to a lesser extent folk rock music. I found that while I could appreciate the talent of bands like Steeleye Span, Fairport, Horslips, Moving Hearts I was just never able to fully commit to the fusion of folk and rock music for reasons I mentioned previously. I know nothing about the dancing either of you are talking about.
Okay but please watch no more than 10 seconds of this madness.
Which one is you Marky?
That's me leaning out of the depository window just by the grassy knoll.

I need to share this as it has overtaken "Is This Really The First Time" by JoBoxers as the catchiest song I've ever heard. It's like a nightmare vision of Madness meets the Small Faces with a bit of the Carry On films thrown in. I still can't decide if I like it but it is totally insane...

Yeah heard that before. Not very good for me tries well too hard to be clever. Don't come close to The JoBoxers tune. But hey each to their own. ;)

Yep but it's also not fit to lick the boots of Madness, Small Faces or Joboxers.

I know you're not saying that and I'm just teasing. It's the kind of song that would end up in the 50p bin the week after release.
