Good stuff. One of the joys of being a member of this forum is being introduced to bands and music I'd never heard before.
Hello,

Should you or I tell him, revbob?

I guess he's referring to this thread.

Got it, agreed, great thread to hear new to me stuff as well.

Would it please the board if I edited my post to remove any possibility that the "thanks" was directed to Doc?
I think the board would drag you in the streets for such rudeness. Why, I'm certain of it. Harumph!

Definitely remove all evidence. Then wash your hands.

Just randomly popped up on my you tube page, Young and Stills on stage together and it's rather nice. Youngs voice not what it once was but there's a certain vulnerability to it and that has its appeal for me.

Very cool! I also saw this clip:

The Buffalo Springfield (for my buck) are the best 60's group too many people have not heard of.

Coincidentally I've been listening to a bit of Joe Walsh lately, a guy with some decent stuff in his catalogue. Very good quality on those recordings too.

Sorry, late, but this rules. I'd been getting a little tired of the Interrupters shtick, but this is great.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

There is certainly shitty disco. There is also very good disco. This is the latter.

The last Orb song I really dug, almost 20 years old now.

I mentioned this song in Marky's Friday top 5, a crazy little ditty. The first 40 seconds is slow but once the song kicks in .......
From what I see there's still a little hope

A friend reminded me of this Jane Wiedlin pop-punk song from the 90s. It's fun but, like all pop-punk, forgettable once its over.

Speaking as a firm pacifist, this song makes me want to lay waste to the rich and their political servants.
