Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

In the early 90s, having some kind of crush on Harriet Wheeler said something about your music tastes (and maybe whether you talked to real girls).

In retrospect, the Brix era of the Fall was the strangest. What the hell was this seriously cool rock chick doing in a band of terse and dour weirdos? But she also opened the door enough to get a whooole lot of people to get into the band.

Yeah well I bought the first Fall single so was already a fan but she gave the band some serious eye candy appeal especially in their videos.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑17 Sep 2022, 7:57pmIn retrospect, the Brix era of the Fall was the strangest. But the Adult Net are nothing like The Fall more 60s shimmering jangle pop.

This is the only Adult Net video I could find, which is so un-Fall-like:Marky Dread wrote: ↑17 Sep 2022, 8:06pmYeah well I bought the first Fall single so was already a fan but she gave the band some serious eye candy appeal especially in their videos.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑17 Sep 2022, 7:57pmIn retrospect, the Brix era of the Fall was the strangest. I think this is only the second time I've seen this. The first time was enough to get me to buy Nowhere immediately. But I can't recall seeing the video on MuchMusic or anywhere else since.

Dat's pretty good. Better than the original, tho I don't rate the original that highly (great album, but I've always found "New Mind" a bit flat).

Cinemartyr is a fairly new discovery for me and this popped up so I figured I'd run it by the resident SWANSitician.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑27 Sep 2022, 8:11amDat's pretty good.
