Whoa. That's crazy talk.
The SMS version is great, but the original is perfect.

The version of Life During Wartime on there beats the original hands down though.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

I prefer any version of Rush that doesn't have that silly "I wish I could sing like that" part.

Even by 70s prog rock standards, that's one hideous cover.

The cover is better than the music.
Yet the title track is not the worst song on the compilation I own.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

In theory, there's a bottom to this sinkhole of suck.

Oh, and Elvis's One Night Of Sin is a million times better than One Night With You.

You know what I would have loved? Elvis's Memphis-era band rerecording the best of his 50s stuff in full studio versions. Mature voice with kickass band combined with high-energy songs from the dawn of the rock era? Gimme.

I mean, the 68 comeback technically fits the bill, but I'd love them in non-medley format.
