No shit.
That said, my ears are never sensitive enough to distinguish between a high vbr mp3 and lossless.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

I know. It's like "Hey, here's a tape of the final Clash II show in Athens, but it's a kinda crappy audience tape, so just encode it to 64k mp3"
Sit on my lap, I'm sober! - cretin Dylan can never care about anything, not a troublesome woman, not a beleagured workingman, not a fingerless glove or sleeveless jacket, as much as Andrew WK cares about partying. - Silent Majority

Anybody want to liveblog Family Man?
I'm down.
I think it's neat that BF recorded their CtC immediately following their first full-length...

I, too, am down. Depending on the time. "These people aren't for real! They watch...television!"
Oh, replace "BF" with "Bad Religion" and you get another completely true statement...

Thursday or Friday, anytime in the late afternoon or evening is probably pretty easy for me. Earlier in the week is maybe a little dicey although Tuesday night would be doable.

Thurs and Fri work for me as well; the earlier part of the week I'll be hanging out with some musician friends of my sister. They're drone/folk people so I don't think they'd be down for Family Man. :(
I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .

I've studied the phenomenon of neo-provincialism in self-isolating online communities but this place takes the fucking cake.

Any night after this Monday, 8PM Eastern or later, works for me. I'll bring the salt, you bring the slugs.

Which is why Jesus gave us the West Memphis 3 CD.
I put that CD right alongside my Black Flag stuff on my CD rack. Have listened to it more than any of the proper BF stuff since then, except maybe First Four Years. Revenge, Nervous Breakdown, and Thirsty And Miserable on the WM3 CD are the definitive versions of those songs to me.
I want a recording of that late '03 Black Flag "reunion" show with prerecorded bass lines and Dez on vocals. Heard it was a complete mess compared to the Rollins Band touring the same songs. Rollins has a great writeup about that whole thing in the Broken Summers book.
