Five songs I like that I reckon most on here will not...

Satellite - The Hooters
Happy Talk - Captain Sensible
I'm In the Mood For Dancing - The Nolans
Walk of Life - Dire Straits
If You Leave Me Now - Chicago
I only know the Dire Straits song and yeah it sucks.

I'm trying to think of some 90s dreck that I actually like as opposed to Irony Like and that enough people around here care enough about to majority hate.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

You were off to a good start with Dave Mathews. Just throw in Hootie and a few others

Yeah, my list may be a bit UK-centric but I would have thought you'd have known the Hooters and Chicago songs.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Revised, thanks revbob:

I'll do my best, in no particular order

1. Dave Matthews Band - Don't Drink the Water
2. Grateful Dead - Cream Puff War
3. Spin Doctors - Little Miss Can't Be Wrong
4. Don McLean - American Pie (I actually prefer Everybody Loves Me Baby, but I don't think anyone cares about that song either way)
5. The Eagles - Desperado

I know a lot of people don't like Sinatra, Crosby, and such that i listen to, but I've never picked up that anyone really despises those old crooners per se - too far removed from the cultural conversation - so I'm not including that stuff. If anyone feels like any of those five are too defensible I'll pick some others.

Revision 1: Led Zeppelin song seemed too good
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

I vaguely remember the Hooters being a thing in the 80s. There was a sing that got a lot of airplay and yeah it sucked so maybe it was Satelite. Chicago, probably have heard it but I wo UK ld only know that one song of theirs and I forget its name.

Layla - Derick and Dominos (definitely not the dirge acustic version).
Africa - Toto
Nobody Does It Better - Carly Simon
Fix You - Coldplay
Fields Of Gold - Sting

Winner winner chicken dinner. Although I honestly don't know the Carly Simon song.

Layla is pretty decent, the Toto and Carly songs are excellent.

Fields of Gold is acceptable for a Sting track but that Coldplay song is fucking awful.

Africa is quite objectively awful.
