Re: seven song shuffle
Just like the last one, these are just what has come up on shuffle while I was listening to my iTunes library. I figure I might as well hop on and add them as I listen:
Uncle Tupelo - "Whiskey Bottle"
Echo & the Bunnymen - "Heads Will Roll"
Simon & Garfunkel - "Cecilia" (Ali's song, but hey, I like it)
Hank Williams III - "Drinkin' Over Momma"
The Meatmen - "Dance to the Music" (Live)
Tsunami Bomb - "Planet, Schmanet, Janet"
Manic Street Preachers - "No One Knows What It's Like To Be Me"

Re: seven song shuffle
A very good popular artists mix this time, with a nice live sprinkling. I like it a lot:
Bob Dylan - All Along the Watchtower
Elvis Presley - Tryin' to Get to You
Rising Sons - 11th Street Overcrossing
Patti Smith - We Three (live in London 1978)
Roxy Music - If it Takes All Night (Live in Berlin 1974)
Bob Dylan - Black Crow Blues
James Brown - Cold Sweat (live from LatA Volume II)
8th track: Big Brother and The Holding Company - Summertime
Skipped track(s): Devo - (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction. Why skipped? Because it's been fucking chosen like 5 billion times. Can you stop picking this song while shuffling already? Jesus fucking Christ... And it seems to like Rising Sons a lot featuring Taj Mahal and Ry Cooder.

I seem to get Janie Jones every shuffle whether it is studio, live or Libertines and even more strangely it is always first.Chuck Mangione wrote:A very good popular artists mix this time, with a nice live sprinkling. I like it a lot:

Re: seven song shuffle
I could listen to them all day to be honest, it's just annoying when they always pop up in the shuffle. It's so random too. Out of all bands...

Re: seven song shuffle
It's as though someone designed a series of elements that exactly wouldn't appeal to me. Every single thing about Devo grates on me like tinfoil wrapped round your teeth as you drag them down a fluorescent blackboard. And I get the ideas and concepts behind their image and music, but I don't find them as clever as the band seem to think they are.Wolter wrote:MARK MOTHERSBAUGH IS A SAINT.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
