Wow - I haven't heard Tank in such a long time. I've still got that album in back and white vinyl.

The Walk on by version on the white single is superb, I think it is a longer version than the single version. I love the Tell Laura I Love Her song plus others in that genre like Jonny Remember Me.Marky Dread wrote: ↑06 Apr 2020, 4:29amMy fave Stranglers album.BitterTom wrote: ↑06 Apr 2020, 2:52amSuch a good album, nearly every track a corker.

Pretty sure the free White single and chart single are the same track same length mate. Around 6 mins 20 secs.laxman wrote: ↑06 Apr 2020, 4:35amThe Walk on by version on the white single is superb, I think it is a longer version than the single version. Commercial suicide really giving all those singles away free the releasing it as your next single. Still getting in the top 30. I wonder how high it could've got if not given away free also.
I'm off for a stroll in the trees now.

I might have been confused by the edit on the Old Testament box set. A brilliant cover version, as I think has been discussed on here before. Make sure you see the wood from the trees!Marky Dread wrote: ↑06 Apr 2020, 5:44amPretty sure the free White single and chart single are the same track same length mate. Around 6 mins 20 secs.
