A pity Shot in the Dark isn't the rather good Ozzy song.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

"The Shape of Things To Come" is pretty majestic as well.
I can totally see you doing a cover of this one.
Lou, the singer from The Headboys is now a mate of mine and we drink in a pub in town. For his age he has unnaturally black hair which he claims isn't died. Yeah! He's now coming up for 70, and looks a bit like an Ozzy Osbourne tribute act. Last week two rather mature ladies were trying to be all over him - it was rather entertaining seeing him being attacked by grannie aged groupies!

I love how someone looks like a "tribute act."
You know what I mean. He's got closer and closer to looking like Ozzy, and if he got up on a stage now folk would think that's what he was and wonder why he was carrying a guitar. Then they'd think, "Why is he playing 'The Shape Of Things To Come'?, Sabbath never recorded that."

I love that first album. The second one is ok but didn't quite hit the spot.
Lou wasn't too happy about it, claiming they never recorded a second album, but I believe he's still accepting the royalties which must be raking up to a total of around £30 by now. I think it's alright, the first album was great in it's time and place. The girl I took to see them play once had Lou as her primary teacher for a year, she was pretty freaked by that. (A few of his 'mates' asked me to burn a copy - how rude! An out of print thing you'll never be able to find, yes, but something available by your so called friend?)
