A pity Shot in the Dark isn't the rather good Ozzy song.

You know what I mean. He's got closer and closer to looking like Ozzy, and if he got up on a stage now folk would think that's what he was and wonder why he was carrying a guitar. Then they'd think, "Why is he playing 'The Shape Of Things To Come'?, Sabbath never recorded that."Heston wrote: ↑30 May 2019, 7:33pmI love how someone looks like a "tribute act."Olaf wrote: ↑30 May 2019, 7:29pmdave202 wrote: ↑30 May 2019, 4:44pmLou, the singer from The Headboys is now a mate of mine and we drink in a pub in town. For his age he has unnaturally black hair which he claims isn't died. Yeah! He's now coming up for 70, and looks a bit like an Ozzy Osbourne tribute act. Last week two rather mature ladies were trying to be all over him - it was rather entertaining seeing him being attacked by grannie aged groupies!
Re: seven song shuffle
Lou wasn't too happy about it, claiming they never recorded a second album, but I believe he's still accepting the royalties which must be raking up to a total of around £30 by now. I think it's alright, the first album was great in it's time and place. The girl I took to see them play once had Lou as her primary teacher for a year, she was pretty freaked by that. (A few of his 'mates' asked me to burn a copy - how rude! An out of print thing you'll never be able to find, yes, but something available by your so called friend?)Marky Dread wrote: ↑30 May 2019, 6:44pmI love that first album.
