Approaching 3,000 posts in the thread, I've been informed this is a record outside of KISS forums.

I remember starting it with some trepidation, would anyone reply? But KISS is like a living, writhing machine, and that's down to you, the fans.

This seems like a claim of Trumpian proportion.

Also unlike the KISS forums we mercilessly skewer them amd their fans so it would be kind of cool if it were true.

the performance of rock n roll all nite from the alive album came on the radio this afternoon and i... did not change the station.

This is an undeniably exciting spectacle...I challenge the naysayers to watch it!

One thing I never understood was Gene’s stage move where he does that like double blow job motion with his arms.

He's marching with the KISS ARMY.

Funny I don't see any KISS songs mentioned in that FB thread. Is it a secret passion you merely entertain on IMCT, or are people just too polite to associate you with them?

In all ways. And the culprits are the young fans. You killed the thing that you love. Because as soon as streaming came in, you took away a chance for the new great bands who are there in the shadows, who can't quit their day job 'cause you can't make a dime putting your music out there, because when you download stuff, it's one-hundredth or one-thousandth of one penny.

Yes, Gene, clearly it's the young fans, not the media conglomerates, who are responsible for the streaming model that kicks artists in the teeth.

I have started writing my KISS lecture, after off-and-on research efforts, organizing said research, and distractions like grading. My hope is to have it done, more or less, this weekend. If I'm happy-ish with it, I'll record an initial run for people here. You also see what a hyped up weirdo I am when lecturing. And, not that it was my mission, I am no closer to understanding their hold on Heston.
