Album was recorded at Blast Recording studios in Newcastle, September 2010. Some latter mixing took place in Los Angeles at Ulysses Recorders. The gigs were at The Cluny, Newcastle.muppet hi fi wrote:Marky, where did they record it and play those gigs again - was it Newcastle or your neck of the woods in Reading? i forget (yeah the DVD's a lot of fun too)

Technically you did buy it as it's the US compilation version of ST.muppet hi fi wrote:i remember seeing a copy of that in '79 or so and wondered what it was. guess i didn't buy it cause it was pretty expensive.

oh good, didn't get ripped off! the US s/t came with a white label promo 45 of Groovy Times b/w Gates of the West. so that's pretty much what the Pearl Harbor thingy was?Marky Dread wrote:Technically you did buy it as it's the US compilation version of ST.muppet hi fi wrote:i remember seeing a copy of that in '79 or so and wondered what it was. guess i didn't buy it cause it was pretty expensive.

Re: What Are you Listening to Right Now?
It's exactly the same album and single as the US and Canadian pressings only difference being the sleeve I posted is like a large variant on the Japanese obi strip. It's a slide over cover that once removed shows the US version of the album with The Clash logo moved from bottom right to top right and the zeroxed Clash image slightly lower than on the original UK sleeve.muppet hi fi wrote:oh good, didn't get ripped off! the US s/t came with a white label promo 45 of Groovy Times b/w Gates of the West. so that's pretty much what the Pearl Harbor thingy was?Marky Dread wrote:Technically you did buy it as it's the US compilation version of ST.muppet hi fi wrote:i remember seeing a copy of that in '79 or so and wondered what it was. guess i didn't buy it cause it was pretty expensive.
