This'll especially appeal to Kory (and maybe only Kory), but it's Cocteau Twins' Victorialand re-imagined as trip-hop. Deserves a genuine release.
Ooh, very cool. And of course, the correct album to choose for a project like this since it's basically missing drums. I'll def check this out today.

Hello,

Okay, it's second level Specials stuff - but this is still a fun listen.

New Vampire Weekend album. I feel kinda bad liking them, but they are so consistently good. Five albums in and no duds thus far.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I'll give it a listen. I agree - no duds in their catalog. I enjoy listening to them. Also a good live band.

I agree with you on Hoy, but not sure about Flex. Might depend on whether he's playing croquet or bocci.

I've got an album, too (probably the first one), and like it, but not enough to enquire further. Kinda surprised to hear they already have five albums out.

I wouldn't join any club that would have you evaluate me for membership.

In that case, I'll ask them to start doing more comedy songs since it won't bother you anyways.

They do seem like they'd have a great sense of humor.
