The Durutti Column, Paean to Wilson. It's been many years I've played this and it's still bloody marvellous, maybe my favourite DC record as it maintains Vini Reilly's style but is quite accessible (i.e., it doesn't disappear up its ass).

Karen Cooper Complex, Shinjuku Birdwalk. No wave adjacent or maybe call it post-no wave. Simple drum machine, slightly funky bass, and thin, scratchy guitar accompanying squawky, pseudo-scatting vocals. Does this appeal? Check it out for yourself: http://dieordiy2.blogspot.com/2015/09/t ... njuku.html

Just Mustard, Heart Under. Brand new, fellow babies! Grinding, morose, noisy (less in volume than in unmusical sounds). Shit is good. The wife walked in while I was listening and frowned. I told her she wasn't coooool.

A good cause, plus some Clash related tracks, including a reading by Chris Salewicz, plus Ray Gange and Taurus Tracker.

Hello,

The Flaming Stars - Bring Me the Rest of Alfredo Garcia. Pretty good Lou Reed-ish garage rock.
