I must’ve missed it. I like it better than Stage so far, and I love Stage.Marky Dread wrote: ↑19 May 2019, 4:49pmI posted that in this thread sometime back and I think only Matedog responded. The Earls Court shows and yes they are brilliant. An amazing listen and I was at the Saturday show.

The Isolar and Isolar II tour are great. I'll go as far to say this release is my favourite Bowie release in years.Wolter wrote: ↑19 May 2019, 5:40pmI must’ve missed it. As far as live goes, it’s the best official thing I’ve heard since Santa Monica.Marky Dread wrote: ↑19 May 2019, 5:45pmThe Isolar and Isolar II tour are great. Stellar early 80s power pop from a local boy and other half of the Dwight Twilley Band.

Add me to that list, it is an amazing document and I do prefer it to Stage. There is quite a bit of documentation of that tour, Baton Rouge, Beat Club, Berlin, Stage, Tokyo and London.Marky Dread wrote: ↑20 May 2019, 1:06amAgreed.Wolter wrote: ↑19 May 2019, 6:42pmAs far as live goes, it’s the best official thing I’ve heard since Santa Monica.Marky Dread wrote: ↑19 May 2019, 5:45pmThe Isolar and Isolar II tour are great. Now I'm waiting for, a hopefully clean and speed corrected version of the Clairville Grove demos.

Saw that release about two months back I think. I would like it on CD I've no use for it on 7'' vinyl.Wolter wrote: ↑20 May 2019, 8:55amThis? https://www.davidbowie.com/blog/2019/5/ ... os-out-nowcoffeepotman wrote: ↑20 May 2019, 8:49amAdd me to that list, it is an amazing document and I do prefer it to Stage. Wouldn't mind a DVD at all. I know some of that stuff was filmed.Marky Dread wrote: ↑19 May 2019, 5:45pmThe Isolar and Isolar II tour are great. The only song by them I know is "Novocaine for the Soul." Do they mostly sound like that?

No, not at all. E has gone in a number of directions. The past ten or fifteen years, tho, he's been pretty standard rock, a touch of Americana, I suppose. I'd recommend every album up to and including Blinking Lights. After that, tho, he seems to have lost his spark.

Exactly, I should clarify, I've no use for vinyl. I'm dying to hear them as I've had the boot for ages and it's a tough listen with all the wow and flutterMarky Dread wrote: ↑20 May 2019, 9:38amSaw that release about two months back I think.
