And the guitar and singing. Dude was just a great songwriter.

The voice is the most subjective so if it doesn't jive for you, it just doesn't. I like his guitar playing, though. Always seems in service to the song. Can you think of a particularly bad guitar on a Dylan track?

I’m in the weird position of not really hating any Dylan song but not really liking him much. I’ve said before I can usually only stand about 3 Dylan songs in a row before I’m bored, even if I like the songs themselves.

Probably a bit harsh about his guitar playing but he was no Eddie Van Halen.

Tho I've grown to genuinely like him much more than I used to, I'm generally in this camp. Listened to sparingly amplifies the impact, but more than five songs or so the aspects about him that I don't dig start to show thru more.

I’m surprised Flex and Hoy didn’t steamroll Tom with a dozen John Popper songs.

also, i just looked at popper's politics section on his wikipedia page. lmao, what a shithead (although i guess he supported bernie in '16? weird)

Black Midi, Schlagenheim. Saw a bunch of rave reviews for these guys and decided to check them out. They're on the math rock side of noise rock, so it's not really up my alley.

I honestly had no idea about his politics, on account of I knew two facts about him: bandolier of harmonicas & bariatric surgery.

The new deluxe edition of the Voidoids' Destiny Street is sounding great so far.
