I'm really digging the new Stranglers single. Plus great to see Psycho in the vid.

Revbob posted a track by them in his recent 5 picks. Great punk energy. I saw them live a long time ago now.RockNRollWhore wrote: ↑03 Sep 2021, 2:55am

Still available in the US. That's a first. Usually the UK gets all the streaming.Marky Dread wrote: ↑03 Sep 2021, 9:04amMust've been taken down.RockNRollWhore wrote: ↑03 Sep 2021, 7:31am

Ride, Coming Up For Air. Been years since I played this, but, damn, it's sweet. Several years after the band split, they got together for some other project and in the process improvised this half-hour instrumental piece. A huge exception to the rule that jam music sucks.

Pulled these out of the $2 bin last week. Pleasantly surprised how strong they both are. Headquarters was the 1st time they really took control: playing and recording much of the material. Pieces is a return to using session players and professional song writers, but Mike Nesmith at least continued to assert himself musically.
