Something about the guitar reminds me of the Vibrators.
They have some great tunes
Hello,

This band is really good, seriously good, awfully good (oxymoron) - whatever the young people are using now. I'm very anxious for some new stuff.
I like it but those lyrics are very clichéd. Kinda punk by numbers.

For the dictatorship of the proletariat, of course…
Jokes aside, they defined their music as "pro-Soviet punk and Emilian popular music".
But being pro-Soviet for the CCCP did not mean being communists, but being against: against uncritical homologation, against blind and alienating material progress, against the destiny of a life that has already been written, an everyday life that is always gray and always the same. No pose: the CCCP are on the side of the steel and concrete world of the Soviet Union against that of plastic and sequins of America.

So they are against conformity and law. They are anti a life that is grey and boring but they are pro the steel and concrete that holds us down working in factories etc.

This seems to be at odds with itself.

If the Berlin Wall had been made of Legos with glue-on sparkles, it probably wouldn't have been as imposing.

I understand, you can try to find more information on the web, I'm sure you will find more comprehensive explanations.

I'm sensing some slightly negative connotations here. Maybe a little hostility even. Perjoritively speaking of course.

Meh. It's no scar to be denounced by those who endorse authoritarianism, left or right.
