I'm currently listening to a remix of Bauhaus' "Bela Lugosi's Dead"—the Fine-Tuning Funkpunk Remix—which I'd link to here but I can't find any reference to it online and have no idea where I downloaded it. Anyway, it's slowed down and made more sparse—the different parts stand out more—but the effect, at least to me, is like some Beat club in the 50s, with Peter Murphy reciting his poetry on stage while this weird, slow, cool jazz is playing.
I love the atmosphere of that track and She's in Parties. Haven't listened to Bauhaus in a good while but I should.
Duh. I could upload my copy of the remix.

Cool I like it thanks. It does have that kinda lounge lizard jazz vibe type thing going on.

I've been listening to Murphy's "Deep" LP a lot recently. It's very good.
I weirdly have only started checking out his solo stuff very recently—as a longtime Bauhaus fan, I'm not sure what took so long, but I'm diggin' it.

Back in the day, I really liked his album Love Hysteria. Still? I dunno.

80s Underground Cassette Culture, Vol. 1. Dark, electronic tape experiments from the decade we all fell in love with Wham! and Baltimora. If you like early Cabaret Voltaire, this is right up your alley.

They all appear to be tied up at the moment.

Something about the guitar reminds me of the Vibrators.

Hello,

This band is really good, seriously good, awfully good (oxymoron) - whatever the young people are using now. I'm very anxious for some new stuff.
