Since last night I’ve been listening to the Cars discography in order on my commutes. I’m up to Panorama.
There are definitely diminishing returns in each step from their near perfect debut, but they’re still in gentle decline. Not to the edge of the cliff yet. Yet.
"Drive"—edge of the cliff or the terror of freefall and seeing imminent impact?
Absolute freefall.

There is not.

I read a description of Judge Dread once that said he was "master of the single entendre" which I find quite funny (and true).

Because of overplay and getting older, I haven't listened to this in forever, but hot damn I forgot how good this band was once upon a time. Some of the most perfectly crafted pop that is out there, even now.

This is a major disruption in the usually solid Kordulla Pact. My ambassador has been recalled for consultations.

I don't mind some Judge Dread stuff but it does grate. As for anyone looking cool in that JD band I don't think so. They look like a complete joke (which is the point). No Skinhead worth his salt would dress like that. The Judge Dread image is a mix of Skinhead/Boot Boy/70s Glam.

Started the evening with Back In Black, moved on to a few classic Bon songs, got the new Specials album on now.

I'll bet its been over a decade since I've played this, which is a shame because it's still a fantastic album from start to finish.
