Hell yeah. When I was a mere lurker here, looking for music recommendations and Clash talk, I didn’t know much about these guys. I think it was muppet that was big into SBM, and on his recommendation I checked them out. Probably one of my top 5 bands now. I picked up the Vision in Blues box set a couple years ago and it’s great.

I discovered this young woman the other day on DKFM. She reminds me of Tracyanne Campbell of Camera Obscura (the song even sounds like it could be an early CO tune). Most of what I listen to is on the art/noise end of things, but I have a soft spot for these kinds of sincere, amateur pop songs, especially with such basic honest nerdy lyrics. There's just something of the punk take-your-shot, speak-your-piece to it all.

Great song by a band that sadly didn't get right up there. Mid/late 00s where guitar driven bands ruled the scene entirely, for some reason we chose Kaiser Chiefs over nearly everyone else... Enough rambling, this song is great.
