I hate Baker Street, only because it's never off the fucking radio.
Damn, I didn't think we'd be on the same side against the barbarians on this topic. Good to have you, tho, brother. Don't mention KISS or Swans and we're good.
You two are the barbarians!!! Full of hate, you'll be telling me you don't like Steely Dan next.
Hats dont lie ,Doc is a fan thru and thru.
The most concerning thing regarding that hat is one of his hobo buddies is now laying battered and bruised on a roadside verge.
Hobos prefer that life.

I looked up the song in question. Oh fuck, that song?
I know I shouldn't like it, but I have a really soft spot for Gerry Rafferty. I think it's because of the use of Stuck in the Middle with You in Reservoir Dogs. It's one of those songs I absolutely should not like, but I do. Everything about it is bad. The sax. The SRP of it all. But I love it.

Just listened to Baker Street. I just now that damn sax riff (from The Simpsons?). I have zero recollection or familiarity of any other part of this song. Holy shit, it's six minutes long?
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I love Baker Street, but then I never listen to the radio.
I cycled on it last week, but had no strong feelings about it either way ;)
Cycling your way down on Baker Street
Light in your head and dead on your feet
Well, another crazy day
You'll cycle the night away
And forget about ev'rything
Ha ha, excellent. And you are correct, I did forget everything. I forgot I didn’t see Sherlock Holmes, so I hate it now!

But as I mentioned to you, I did see this;

I'm not even close to being streets ahead; I'm streets behind:

Positively 4th Street - Bob Dylan
On The Streets - 4-Skins
In The Streets of Boston - Dropkick Murphys
Shakin' Street - MC5
Don't Forget the Streets - The Slackers

Yeah, that'll do nicely
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Life was hard for Joe in Orsett Terrace but he did manage to stay the right way up at least for a while.

According to prophecy, that must signal the locking of this thread and the sacrifice of all first sons of second daughters of third sons.
