I worked with a guy whose last name was Poisson. Most people called him Fish, but I called him Vigoda. There was a real age chasm between those who got it and those who didn't.

You've never seen Barney Miller? Fantastic, low-key workplace comedy.
For a lot of those shows, if it wasn't on Nick at Night, I didn't know where else to see it. Then everything was on DVD but by then there was TOO MUCH choice. I'll see if I can drum up some episodes.

I would have thought that bassline a little too busy for your tastes.
It's active but grooves like a mofo. I don't like bass (or guitar) that seems like it's verging on being out of control. That's a big reason why I dislike most metal (and hardcore)—the emphasis on speed makes me uncomfortable (as in physically so).
