Trashcan Sinatras, “The Pop Place”
Disco Inferno, “D.I. Go Pop”
Everything But the Girl, “Boxing and Pop Music”
Radiohead, “Pop is Dead”
Men Without Hats, “Pop Goes the World”
Had literally never heard of Disco Inferno until a couple of months ago. Anyways, interesting band.
I hadn't heard of them when they were still active, but when I discovered them about ten years ago, I was astounded by how damned good they were. "It's a Kid's World" is especially a favourite of mine—absurdly playful.

I had forgotten how good their first LP was. Pete Nice is now a co-curator of the Universal Hip Hop Museum in the Bronx.
