Flex will tell you I'm not really a fan of camp or kitsch. They have a couple songs I like but I never listen to them on my own.

They're quality dropped off quickly after Dream Police, though a handful of their more recent albums have been good. I like Rockford from 2006.

Here's my Cheap Trick story. Rick Nielsen is a partner/spokesman for ROCK'N Vodka (made in Rockford). That product is made by a Rockford area restaurant group that is a customer of my company. We were going to give ROCK'N Vodka a booth at our 2020 food/trade show and Rick was going to attend. I was super pumped, but then COVID came around and we canceled the show. We've had ROCK'N Vodka in shows since then, but no Rick.

Here's MY Cheap Trick story. I had a dream once where the band were painting the side of a house and were trying to stay incognito, so I went on a long loud rant about Rick Nielsen having a 27-neck guitar.

And, of course, former IMCTer modskin's legendary story of being at some show and seeing Rick Nielsen in the crowd, and drunkenly telling him, "You're the guy that plays all those stupid guitars."

we're all gonna have the same 5 in different order!
We reach the parts other combos cannot reach
We beach the beachheads other armies cannot beach
We speak the tongues other mouths cannot speak
