It's been a while, putting the album on now.

So Sad About us
A Quick One, While He's Away
See My Way
Happy Jack
Run Run Run

Great to revisit this album. I forgot how much I loved So Sad About Us, and the title track is just something else.

"So Sad" is great. But I had to go for "Happy Jack" as my number one. Because you can't prevent Jack from feeling happy.

Can't knock the rest of your list, but Birthday seems an unlikely choice of favourite track.
daredevil's list is The Very Most Problematic of the Beatles.

I gotta say, "Birthday" is such an odd choice for a favourite Beatles song. Even Tom wouldn't go there.

Yeah. I *like* Birthday, as disposable fluff.

It reads like pulling song names out of a hat. For a list so unusual, there's nothing there that seems connective.

I was liking a lot of their lesser known songs at the time of the poll. Birthday rocks imho.

I don't really have very formed opinions about World Service, but I never did last week's so:

1. Boris the Spider (fucking love this song)
2. A Quick One While He's Away
3. Happy Jack
4. So Sad About Us
5. Run Run Run

A sneaky fave album. Kind of gets overlooked but I really like how the Who play on this record.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

Good album, think I'll stick it on later and make my choices.

Never heard of them, but glad they're doing Toni Basil and Boomtown Rats covers

Not as good as One Eyed Jacks but a few killer cuts...

All My Love (Ask Nothing)
Come Back
Somewhere In the East
Mickey
Once In Her Lifetime

Special mention to "Last Card" which should have made the album but ended up as a b-side.
