It was during one of our nomination/elimination games to construct an album based on track location. revbob and I were very salty about "Paranoid" losing to "Another Girl, Another Planet." The only upside of it all was that he and I confirmed a bond of bitterness.

Dang it! Worse, on my walk home this evening, the "Typical Girls" dub from the Cut deluxe album came up and I was seriously grooving on the spaciness of it all.

I will proudly die on that hill with you (and haunt the fuck out of those who deserve it forevermore).

Typical! :)

A great single with I heard it through the grapevine/bass line on the B side.

I agree Another Girl, Another Planet is nothing to get Paranoid about.

An exceedingly rare example where a cover supersedes the original. Every part of the Slits' "Grapevine" is perfect—that milkshake-thick bass, razor-sharp guitar, or Ari's trilling. That single was serious value for the money.
