After repeated listens my faves keep changing. They have songs that can completely pass me by then all of a sudden (no pun) get lodged in my brain.

Sacrificial Bonfire
Dear God
1000 Umbrellas
Earn Enough For Us
Season's Cycle

I'm going with the 2010 corrected polarity remaster edition if ya don't mind Marky. Tricky album to pin down trackwise, a wealth of songs.

Summers Cauldron
The Man Who Sailed Around His Soul
Mermaid Smiled
Season Cycle
Sacrificial Bonfire

I prefer the first issue version. Dear God was an awesome B side that should've been an A side.

Great choice citizen Marky. My UK vinyl copy didn't have Mary, on the US version? Saw Citizen Boomtown recently, lot's of things I never knew about the band.

Yeah it's really a track from the first album. But the UK single is an alternate version re-recorded and included on the US version. "Joey's on the Street Again" from the first album was also on some US versions. I've also got an alternate version of "She's So Modern" that was released on a cheap punk/new wave cd.

I've not seen Citizen Boomtown is that a new documentary?

Yep, thought you'd gone with the US vinyl, must seek out the the alternate versions you mention. Citizens of Boomtown is from last year, still up on BBC iPlayer and well worth a watch. Easy to forget how massive they got in 78/79 but they blew their chances in the US.
