Yeah great line. Ghosts is also a great track as is Carnation with it's "look no further than the mirror" line. So many brilliant songs.

A lot of fans diss the Gift but though it has a couple of weak spots, I think it is still a great album.BitterTom wrote: ↑21 Oct 2021, 5:04pmThe Gift that keeps giving.Marky Dread wrote: ↑21 Oct 2021, 4:21pmYeah great line. Another grower. I actually don't dislike any song on that album, Trans-Global, Planner's Dream and The Gift are... ok but easily the weaker on there.Heston wrote: ↑21 Oct 2021, 5:08pmA lot of fans diss the Gift but though it has a couple of weak spots, I think it is still a great album.BitterTom wrote: ↑21 Oct 2021, 5:04pmThe Gift that keeps giving.Marky Dread wrote: ↑21 Oct 2021, 4:21pmYeah great line. Happy Together, Ghosts, Hero, and of course Malice are exceptionally good tracks and I'm more than happy with it being my #3 album of theirs.

I really dig that Northern Soul/ Mod rock mix they had at the time. They could've easily have carried on and been anything but cabaret.Heston wrote: ↑21 Oct 2021, 5:08pmA lot of fans diss the Gift but though it has a couple of weak spots, I think it is still a great album.BitterTom wrote: ↑21 Oct 2021, 5:04pmThe Gift that keeps giving.Marky Dread wrote: ↑21 Oct 2021, 4:21pmYeah great line. Agreed, and I think Bruce's "Circus" would have been better off as a b-side. I really wish they'd fully developed "Walking In Heaven's Sunshine" as I think it's a cracking track even in demo form.BitterTom wrote: ↑21 Oct 2021, 5:17pmAnother grower.
