I'd probably buy a Heston action figure.
Would probably be more of a "lack of action" figure.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

4. The New Humans - What If You're Wrong?. Some Bloke ;)
How fucking good is this? If this had been released in the mid 80s this would've filled the Hacienda.
Phil Collins live at the Crab Nebula with you. ;)

Always makes me grin. Along with side 7 of Sandinista! What a great track.

I'm also looking forward to checking out the new James Dean Bradfield album that WWK recommended in the other thread.
I've literally listened to it 20 times since Monday  .

Hmmm... interesting. Let's see (will have to just interchange songs/albums/artists):

Rob Jungklas - Arkadelphia (The Crooked Beat) - Still perhaps the all time recommendation from the dearly departed (from the board, not life, I presume) TCB. this album truly slays in a moody americana kind of way.

Peter Brötzmann - Machine Gun (eumaas) - Really, eumaas has turned me onto tons and tons of stuff, especially jazz, but this is the exemplar. Free jazz with punk rock ferocity.

Kerry Pastine & the Crime Scene (rebob) - rev has continuously been feeding me great underground acts for quite awhile, this is but one pick of many.

The Beach Boys (Wolter) - I sort of wanted to get into these guys anyways, but Wolt gets a bunch of credit for spurring my intrigue and a deep dive and obsession that remains strong to this day.

Wire (Doctor Medulla) - Other than knowing Minor Threat's 12XU was a cover, I never really checked Wire out until Doc starting talking about them incessantly. He also kindly hooked me up with a few side project albums and such when I first wanted to check out the crazy web of side projects and material that make up the Expanded Wire Universe.

Oh, and here's a 6th honorable mention....

Kiss - Strutter (Heston) - Fucking okay, this one isn't so bad.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Having been on board since I was 16, I could never trace my current music taste without it. A couple that I remember the source of

The Snake - Al Wilson (Inder)
Bowie (Wolter)
Wire (Dr Medulla)
Black Flag (Flex)
The rest... (Marky)

JoBoxers - Is This Really the First Time? (Marky) - Marky sent me an upload of their hits comp featuring the catchiest song in the history of the world

Meat Puppets - Two Rivers (weller259) - Desert Island Discs thread

Rolling Stones - Connection (Tep) - An album track that had passed me by until Tep raved about it in a long forgotten thread

Martin Newell - Before the Hurricane (Marky) - Another excellent rec from Marky

Santigold - Disparate Youth (Matey) - Superb song and another from the Tasty Cutz selection

It's quite mad that you were 16 when you joined. Saying that, I think eumaas was 7.

I'd probably buy a Heston action figure.
Would probably be more of a "lack of action" figure.
Trust me, he'd get plenty of action. This house is crammed full of Barbies.

Not with the new restrictions in your neck of the woods from midnight. Take it easy out there.
