He’s what was the thread where we talked about album tracks leading in to another on the same beat / note?
I have another one but can’t find the thread
It was in the Clash observations thread. Just search for "Wardour."
Can’t be arsed to find it.
Listening to The Crack and You’re Just A leads into It Was Cold but do you think they were recorded live in the studio or mixed that way?
Thanks mate, it went very well. Toyah was lovely and her band was spot on
Good stuff. Nice that she was decent as well. What's your ratio of covers to originals in the setlist usually?
It was all originals last night save for one cover. If we're playing pub gigs it's about 70% covers, but the fact we play 2 sets over 2 hours allows us to get loads of our own songs in regardless.

Who are you Springsteen?
Average pub gig is about 30 songs including encores. Those fisherman's friends come in handy next day.

Very jealous. There's nothing like playing live, and though we only played a handful of gigs a few years back it was an immense feeling. I might just get the telecaster down from the loft..

Do it, you're still a young pup!
The thing I like most about being in a band is the social side. I've met loads of great people doing this and made many new friends. Our small fanbase all know each other now and are like one big happy family, some even forming relationships. It's really gratifying to see.

I'm so tempted to!
Totally get you with the social side, we got on well with virtually every band we played with, do a great show, have a few beers after, heaven. That's great to get to the level of having that fanbase, must make the whole performance even more pleasing.

Well the promoter from last night has just been on the blower and offered us a support slot with Bad Manners next March at the 02 in Newcastle. They usually sell out and it's a 2,000 capacity. One happy Heston here.
