edit: Listened to Sighs. I'd call it less shoegaze than slowcore, which isn't really my thing most days. I like it more than Hoy like Joy Division, but less than Hoy like Limp Bizkit.

There's a Hip Hop Oldies station I listen to. It's amazing how much better everything used to be.

I still can't sort out shoegazing. When I hear the term I think of this:

Shoegaze is basically updated psychedelic rock, with an emphasis on a wall of noise sound and either emotionally dead or dreamy altered states vocals. The stuff that is a bit more melodic tends to be reclassified as dreampop.
