The only way you could choose Londons Burning is by default as it is next to the worst on the ballot paper.

LB is an ok song, just a bit... dull. Live version is pretty solid though.

It would appear that the writing is on the wall for Deny...

I had to vote for Deny, but I still think it's a great punk song for its time.

I went for London's Burning over Deny. I love Joe's voice on Deny when he sings those "baby I've seen your arms" bits. London's Burning is fine but a bit unmelodic and chanty.

Whatever they are passing off for beer in Tyneside please stop drinking it.

The lyric "Black or white turn it on, face the new religion" ''Everybody's sitting 'round watching television'' is epic. A call to arms to get off your backside and make something happen, it's so punk rock it hurts.

Now ''Deny'' is not a bad track far from it. But I wish they had put it on the ''White Riot'' B-side and had ''1977'' on the LP.

Indeed. I was referring to it musically rather than the great lyrics. Something had to go and I like Deny too much.

Musically ''Deny'' is decent but lyrically urgh.

''Do you think I'm a raving idiot? Just got off the boat'' - not good at all.
