Bankrobber is one of my favorite Clash songs, but most of the ones left are solid enough that I won’t complain when it goes down.
Bankrobber vs. Complete Control is a Sophie's choice for me.
How about the FHTE version of CC?

I'm just sticking to studio versions, but live CC kills most anything in its path.

My favourite version of my favourite Clash song. Which by default makes it my favourite song of all time.

No
Afraid it was rhetorical Mr Heston.
It may be sacrilege as it was one of their biggest hits but Bankrobber is the weakest one left for me there.
It's good but feels like the verse is stuck on repeat for far too long.
Yep.
The verse and chorus sharing the same melody is a bit unfortunate. It's still a fun one though. It'll last awhile on this poll for me, but not until the end.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense . If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I love Bankrobber. The sameness throughout just adds to the dubby groove. Joe tried the same thing again with Trash City to lesser effect.

Sorry, I just meant in this batch of songs. Unless I'm shivved along the way, LC is my last song standing.

Mikey was on a hiding to nothing here really. And you know taken in the right context it's a pretty decent dub.

I always thought it sounded like David Bowie in reverse.
