Surprise - the Dead Kennedys fans like the hectoring dirge over the classic melody.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
Pex Lives!

This whole poll thing is totally worth it for this and the disco sea shanty.Silent Majority wrote: ↑05 Apr 2019, 7:49pmSurprise - the Dead Kennedys fans like the hectoring dirge over the classic melody.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I might as well now that I’m thinking about it.Flex wrote: ↑05 Apr 2019, 7:48pmi don't want to give away my vote before it's cast, but I'm definitely of a like mind here.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑05 Apr 2019, 7:38pmBold assertion: Next round, I'll be voting for SISOSIG to go over KYR. Joe clumsily calling out police violence is better than Mick's radio pop.

KYR for me, the recorded version sounds stilted, especially next to the beast of a version from FHTE.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

I think Car Jamming has better lyrics than 75% of Combat Rock.
Forces have been looting
My humanity
Curfews have been curbing
The end of liberty
We're the flowers in the dustbin...
No fuchsias for you.
