It was the weakest track out of a bunch of good ones.101Walterton wrote: ↑05 Apr 2019, 9:04pmWTF Rockers Galore???

Admittedly that poll probably had the most consistent list of good songs out of all the polls but RG is better than City Of The Dead plus RG is great.Wolter wrote: ↑05 Apr 2019, 11:34pmIt was the weakest track out of a bunch of good ones.101Walterton wrote: ↑05 Apr 2019, 9:04pmWTF Rockers Galore???

Rocker's Galore is both worse than just about every b side that came before it, and better than just about every b side that came after.
Re: The GREAT Clash SURVIVOR Poll of 2019: RESULTS
RG is the one that’s just Mikey Dread talking over Bankrobber right?
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Still grieving over Dictator, hardly the worst song on the side.

Good god, I'm agreeing with you again. City of the Dead is great, a proper song. Whilst I like Mikey's toasting on Living In Fame, Rockers Galore always seemed like a lazy toss off.Wolter wrote: ↑05 Apr 2019, 11:53pmIt isn’t and it isn’t.101Walterton wrote: ↑05 Apr 2019, 11:41pmAdmittedly that poll probably had the most consistent list of good songs out of all the polls but RG is better than City Of The Dead plus RG is great.Wolter wrote: ↑05 Apr 2019, 11:34pmIt was the weakest track out of a bunch of good ones.101Walterton wrote: ↑05 Apr 2019, 9:04pmWTF Rockers Galore???
