TCT is easily the best song on CTC to be fair.

This would make a heck of a mini album.
How about the top two from each heat as a proper LP?

It's strange, I think every one of the seven winners was a bit of an upset apart from STH and SEH.
I'd say CC is always (rightly) regarded as a heavyweight. It was just in such a tough bracket that a few others were equally heavyweights.

wrong thread!
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Yeah, but the conventional wisdom has always been TIE is the only good song on it.

Anything up against White Man was never gonna be favourite, even though CC is a massive hitter.

The fact that London Calling and (White Man) are not in the final makes me wanna piss in people's gravy.

It seems wrong that they're not there but RCF and CC are worthy replacements.

Let’s be honest: there are a lot of good Clash songs, so no one is going to be completely happy.

ROUND 24

The Finals - Round 1

Three Card Trick is OUT with 20 votes.

I'm So Bored With the USA received 4 votes, Safe European Home received 2 votes, and all others (Rudie Can't Fail, One More Time, Straight to Hell, Complete Control) received 0 votes.

If a song isn't listed it's because it was already eliminated.

White Man was a shock for me, and personal taste wise, would have liked to see LITS get a bit further. I know I'm like a broken record but it's such a beautiful song.

I'm like a broken record but it's always the production of White Man that marks it down for me. If only they'd had a top producer on board instead of letting 22 year old Mick do it.
