ROUND 3 - Cut the Crap - Side One
Every time we vote off a Cut the Crap song...Bernie cries a little...

Sticking with Are You Red..Y. The other songs are pretty good, folks.

Dirty Punk is like Hanna Barbera punk. It's ridiculously stupid. A punk who plays rebel funk in his car WTF! It's just a lazy rhyme. Along with the appalling Dictator it sucks and blows in equal measure.

I actually think the song is pretty well put together, though. Catchy chorus. One of the most technically competent songs on the album, to my ears. I just assume the lyrics are being, like, ironic or something.Marky Dread wrote: ↑06 Apr 2019, 7:26pmDirty Punk is like Hanna Barbera punk. It's ridiculously stupid. I don't hear any irony or humour. Or are you being ironically humorous?Flex wrote: ↑06 Apr 2019, 7:30pmI actually think the song is pretty well put together, though. Catchy chorus. It's a rubbish song for me. I actually think We Are The Clash to be a superior tune utter crap lyrics aside.

it's one that suffers by actually be one of Mark II's killer live songs, but was mangled even more than some of these other tracks in the studio. I can't get over it.

I was just going to comment on this. It really did work well live - but the studio version is not very good. Even the original demo sounded better than the final product.

Our community provides evidence that Bernie planted some kind of long gestating virus in that record.
