Can I still listen to Rudie?
i would (and plan to) deprive someone of limbs before I deprive them of listening to Rudie.

I LOVE London Calling but Rudie is simply one of the greatest songs ever recorded. Insanity that it wasn't released as a single.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Randomly came across London Calling (2012 Mix) yesterday - the spoken word intro, the 1,2,3,4 countdown and the extra loud guitars had it sounding fresh and fantastic - still going with Rudie - which can only be blamed for its outro/chorus not being at least 2 minutes longer

If LC loses out, I swear that I will vote against everyone's favourites the rest of the way.

Had to vote LC despite how much I love it. Rudie is a top 3 Clash song for me and that puts it high in the running for best song of all time.

Yep, but I guess that is why it wasn’t released as a single. As I said last week would have gone to #1.

Rudie is a top 20 Clash song for me so I'm voting for LC to go.

Rudie is brilliant and like most here love it to bits. However it's a throw back sound to our brothers from the Windrush generation. London Calling sings of a foreboding future and of the shape of bad things to come it's was also the one great song to take the sound of punks fury forward. For it's originality alone it has to be my winner.
