Julie's Been Working For The Drug Squad
Deny
Listen
First Night Back in London
The Only Clash Compilation That Matters!

It's not a bad tracklist, all things considered. It's definitely the kind of tracklist you put on when you want the version of the clash that's about mutant disco and late night, druggie soundscapes and such. I always liked playing this kind of stuff when I was driving cross country late at night.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

The worst tracklist would just be an endless repeat of,

Cool Confusion
Long Time Jerk
First Night Back

Jimmy and Julie can hold their heads up high and walk straight outta that mix tape.

I'm not comparing the tracks, that would be like comparing steak to mince. Point was that in my opinion, both of the best tracks on the side had votes against them.

Man I want to be contrarian and vote SISOSIG, but I just can’t. Love the song but RtC wins.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

It would be a much more fun listen than that Sound System disc with all the latter day b sides.

I'm assuming you mean this disc? While some of the latter B-sides are anything but great there are some absolute killer tracks on that disc.

1. "The Magnificent Dance" (Dance remix of "The Magnificent Seven")
2. "Midnight To Stevens''
3. "Radio One"
4. "Stop The World"
5. "The Cool Out" (Dub version of "The Call Up")
6. "This Is Radio Clash"
7. "Radio Clash"
8. "First Night Back in London"
9. "Rock The Casbah" (Bob Clearmountain 12" mix)
10. "Long Time Jerk"
11. "The Beautiful People Are Ugly Too" (Combat Rock outtake; Previously Unreleased)
12. "Idle In Kangaroo Court" (Combat Rock outtake listed as Kill Time; Previously Unreleased)
13. "Ghetto Defendant" (Unedited version; Previously Unreleased)
14. "Cool Confusion"
15. "Sean Flynn" (Extended 'Marcus Music' version; Previously Unreleased)
16. "Straight to Hell" (Extended unedited version from Clash on Broadway)
