I love GotR, great vocal by Joe. It's their best use of that Who riff imo. I went for DST but it was close between that and Cheapskates.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Re: ROUND 5 - GEER - Side Two
All The Young Punks is the weakest song on the record and I'll be voting for it every round until it, inevitably, wins side two and then is maybe finally killed off when it squares up with SEH.

I voted Cheapskates, which expected to be the “favorite” given its reputation, but I’m shocked.

Love every track on this side bar Cheapskates.
I only like that one, the rest are works of art in my eyes from their most consistent album.

All the lurkers voting for the wrong songs need to start participating in the conversation.

Re: ROUND 5 - GEER - Side Two
I'll be honest, I'd be okay with a five way tie voting everything off.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Re: ROUND 5 - GEER - Side Two
Positive things about side 2:
Guns on the Roof: great lyrics
Drug Stabbing Time: That Lyceum version from Sound System sounds great
Stay Free - great bass and the arrangement is nice. Love the outro.
Cheapskates - Best hook on side 2
Young Punks - Eh, clever title.
