Surely this time Midnight to Stevens gets the axe?

Sense may yet prevail. I really can't understand the voting here. I'm astounded people think these non-songs and throwaways are better than this excellent tribute to Guy Stevens

Voting off Magnificent Dance. Mag7 already exists and the Cool Out stands out as an instrumental by having a superior mix to The Call Up.

Let's finally toss the track that even the band that released stuff like Stop The World and Mustapha Dance realized wasn't good enough to press to wax.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Magnificent Dance, let's see the end to these non songs.
How people are voting for Midnight against said non songs is beyond me.

Yep, I've been voting MD every time. Without the lyrics it just gets tedious.

It's something nobody would ever choose to listen to.
And Midnight's getting the votes...

MD was the theme tune for that TV show a few years back. The one that had the funny scene where they had a lip reader in court lip reading a CCTV clip of a guy singing Bankrobber

MD can work in a soundtrack setting but I would be twiddling my thumbs after 2 minutes of listening to it without distractions.
Midnight To Stevens totally blew me away on first listen as I was expecting a CR-era type b-side. Instead it has this wonderfully organic sound that I wish they'd pursued on Combat Rock. There is also real songwriting there, not just vamping on a couple of chords like a lot of the 81-82 stuff. I'm genuinely mystified as to why it seems so unpopular.

Re: ROUND 5 - Non-Album Tracks - Part Three
I've just had a listen to Stop the World for the first time in ages and I may have to re-evaluate it a bit. It's actually really great for about the first minute and a half, but then it just descends into this overkill of vocal effects and strange swirling noises, ending abruptly. It's a shame because it could have been a contender, especially if they'd stuck a chorus or two in between Joe's quite excellent lyrics.
