Indeed. Joe sounds like he's feeling the lyrics rather than reading off a lyric sheet, which is my problem with some songs on CR.101Walterton wrote: ↑09 Apr 2019, 5:50pmNot to mention the genuine sentiment.Heston wrote: ↑09 Apr 2019, 5:16pmMD can work in a soundtrack setting but I would be twiddling my thumbs after 2 minutes of listening to it without distractions.
Midnight To Stevens totally blew me away on first listen as I was expecting a CR-era type b-side. Instead it has this wonderfully organic sound that I wish they'd pursued on Combat Rock. There is also real songwriting there, not just vamping on a couple of chords like a lot of the 81-82 stuff. I'm genuinely mystified as to why it seems so unpopular.

MD is probably my secoen favorite track of this lot. Great little mix. I actually prefer Mustapha Dance, but that already got eliminated.

Fuck, Stop the World pulled level, just as I was warming to it.
We now have the best two songs on the list heading out.

Are you insane? TIRC is there. I know you like RC more, but it's not THAT different.

Found the earlier scene which is then lip read in Court.101Walterton wrote: ↑09 Apr 2019, 4:47pmMD was the theme tune for that TV show a few years back. The one that had the funny scene where they had a lip reader in court lip reading a CCTV clip of a guy singing Bankrobber
