I voted Bankrobber, but I don't feel good about it.

I Fought the Law is another tricky one as even though it's cover, they totally made it their own. That solo with about 4 Micks and Topper's whole performance are highlights for me. It kind of keeps that GEER sound but somehow executes it better.
Yeah. It's mixed more pleasingly than GEER.
Can't argue with any of this. Which annoys me.
Yes always been top track for me.

99% of my ire in these threads is joking, but I'm honestly a little stunned at Groovy Times likely getting bounced this round. Top 5 Clash track for me. That second verse is one of the greatest lyrics ever written by anyone and the whole song is catchy as all hell.

If I’m ever allowed to change my vote off of it I will. I accidentally selected it while riding a subway car and if it were losing by one I would be beside myself.

GT is either the second or third best song up there.

If CC beats GOTW, it is because the lyrics aren’t so busy.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Yeah punks are nowhere near as smart as Dylan fans.

Groovy Times, still a great track but has to be one to get the vote.

I think if the band hadn't made IFTL there own so much then GT could stay.

I was just going to mention this. IFTL is one of those rare covers where the cover band pretty much claims ownership. In my opinion - it is now a Clash song.

Except Police and Thieves they did it with most of the covers they did.
