I voted Bankrobber, but I don't feel good about it.

99% of my ire in these threads is joking, but I'm honestly a little stunned at Groovy Times likely getting bounced this round. Top 5 Clash track for me. That second verse is one of the greatest lyrics ever written by anyone and the whole song is catchy as all hell.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
Pex Lives!

If I’m ever allowed to change my vote off of it I will. I accidentally selected it while riding a subway car and if it were losing by one I would be beside myself.

GT is either the second or third best song up there.
Re: ROUND 6 - Non-Album Tracks - Part Two
If CC beats GOTW, it is because the lyrics aren’t so busy.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Yeah punks are nowhere near as smart as Dylan fans.

Groovy Times, still a great track but has to be one to get the vote.

I think if the band hadn't made IFTL there own so much then GT could stay.

I was just going to mention this. IFTL is one of those rare covers where the cover band pretty much claims ownership. In my opinion - it is now a Clash song.Marky Dread wrote: ↑10 Apr 2019, 5:17pmI think if the band hadn't made IFTL there own so much then GT could stay.
