Midnight Log. A bit crap. The Equaliser is a bit mental but I'm very fond of it. Broadway is ok and those are the weakest links in my opinion this side. PomB is very overrated as well.

The Equaliser is a fucking great song. That or the Call Up should win this imo.

It's a mindfuck but that's why I like it.

Breaking the sides up like this has been a great reminder how these tunes were originally organized. Dunno if my absolute fave S! songs are on this side, but I agree that pound for pound this may be the best side.

Quite true. It's been fun to take S! at least halfway at that level since it came out as a threefer in the Sound System box, too. Man, what an outstanding album.

Same here. Possibly my favorite Clash side, period. It really may be the most representative album side of their whole career.

Yeah the rockabilly vibe does work well on Midnight Log but the others are just better.

So many good tracks on this side but over the years my fave has become Washington Bullets. Great track and a history lesson thrown in.
