Oh my. This is a tough one. Not sure if I should just use the “vote off the cover” trick, since that cover rules.

Love both The Call Up and Washington Bullets too much to boot either of them off against a cover, great as that cover is.

PomB is overrated and a bit boring. The other two smash it to pieces.

You misspelled “The Call Up.”
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Call Up apparently has great lyrics or something. I can’t be bothered to notice the, because the music is so damn boring.

I'd argue atmospheric not boring. Great song.

I'd second your argument. The music really works with Joe's lyric and delivery. It's fantastic.

It's a great song full of atmosphere and melancholy. It just needed a better mix.

Exactly.

Still wouldn't have chosen it as a single though. It's great but feel there were better options to choose from on S!

a great version of live POMB - Tokyo 82 amongst an otherwise wooden display.

Call up is a bit depressing understandably.

Washington Bullets is like a combined History & Geography lesson.
