Is this for opening track? If so Blitzkrieg Bop FTW, hands down. You want to open the album with a kick in the teeth.

Ok I have been trying to work out how this will work for a while but here goes. I want to compile the ultimate album track by track number.
This is how it works:
There will be 6 tracks per side but a ghost track at the end.
To start you have to nominate your favourite side 1 track 1 song from any album.
We then go side 1 track 2 etc..
For CD albums it only includes tracks 1-12 (plus any ghost / unarmed tracks at the end of the CD).
You can only use albums in their original formats, no imports, delux releases, re releases etc.
No compilations or live albums this only studio albums.
Obviously any song that is a non album track is excluded.
The Clash are excluded from this poll.
When I have the nominations for tracks 1-12 plus the extra track we will have a poll to decide which side 1 track 1 song gets in etc..

Before I waste my time in this is it a good idea?
I was going to say "aren't people just going to vote for the tracks they chose and we wind up with a stalemate," then I remembered all the lurkers.

Cant vote for your own nomination? Would that work?

But 101 makes the rules.

Fuck! Totally forgot this one, if that's ok this'll be my actual choice as Heston has already nominated Medicine Show.

Just an idea (which is more work for 101 :)) - pick your top 3 from the list with #1 getting 3 points, #2 getting 2 and #3 getting 1? Highest score wins

This is also acceptable.

I guess it depends on what you're going for but an album opener should demand your attention
