Re: The Ultimate Album Track 4 Nomination
Is there a rule in this game about only one artist/one song being eligible? Just looking ahead to a couple massive Pistols songs.

Yeah I was thinking similar thoughts. 101 banned The Clash but I would've thought having a one song rule only would be a good idea.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑22 Apr 2020, 6:25amIs there a rule in this game about only one artist/one song being eligible? Just looking ahead to a couple massive Pistols songs.

Re: The Ultimate Album Track 4 Nomination
Thinking about it some, it'd lead to more strategic nominating/voting. Would, for example, people argue for "In the City" if it meant they couldn't consider "Down in the Tube Station …" later on?Marky Dread wrote: ↑22 Apr 2020, 6:32amYeah I was thinking similar thoughts. 101 banned The Clash but I would've thought having a one song rule only would be a good idea.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑22 Apr 2020, 6:25amIs there a rule in this game about only one artist/one song being eligible? I assumed it would be one song per artist.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑22 Apr 2020, 6:25amIs there a rule in this game about only one artist/one song being eligible? Just looking ahead to a couple massive Pistols songs.

A couple of good Pogues options, Fairytale of New York being one, but I'll go for Misty Morning, Albert Bridge because I have been playing that a lot since being reminded about the reworked Peace & Love album in the 30 Years box set.
Re: The Ultimate Album Track 4 Nomination
My choice Pogues tunes would be Sick Bed or Bottle of Smoke.

Bottle of Smoke is fun but MMAB is sublime, up with their very best imo.

Re: The Ultimate Album Track 4 Nomination
There are no rules about nominating an artist more than once and if an artist wins a round it doesn’t exclude them from future rounds because I want the best songs to win.
But I’m open to persuasion.

More than 1 seems a but much and more than 2 definitely is but its your contest101Walterton wrote: ↑22 Apr 2020, 4:58pmThere are no rules about nominating an artist more than once and if an artist wins a round it doesn’t exclude them from future rounds because I want the best songs to win.

Agreed. A bit late to introduce this as a rule though.revbob wrote: ↑22 Apr 2020, 6:00pmMore than 1 seems a but much101Walterton wrote: ↑22 Apr 2020, 4:58pmThere are no rules about nominating an artist more than once and if an artist wins a round it doesn’t exclude them from future rounds because I want the best songs to win.
